Elevated Shredders Kids Mountain Bike Camp
Elevated Shredders Kids Camp is going on year 6 of camps. I offer Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced sessions, all ranging from ages 4-16. Sessions are 2-4 hours of group instruction on the trails. The kids get a lot of riding in! We ride different trail systems on the Front Range depending on ability level.
Skills are taught at-level and include
Shifting
Braking
Climbing & Descending
Cornering
and most importantly, STOKE!
Private Instruction on the Front Range
Along with camp sessions, I also coach private 1 on 1 or group instruction. I am certified in Level 1 Fundamental Skills and can teach all ages. Private instruction includes all basic mountain bike skills such as climbing & descending, braking, cornering, and shifting, all depending on what the experience level of the rider is. We meet at local trails for a 2-3 hour session, and sessions can be booked as often as I am available.

Women's Mountain Bike Camp in Evergreen
I will be coaching another all-women's MTB camp this summer. 4 weeks of skills coaching and riding on intermediate trails in Evergreen. We will work on improving your skills across the board and you will come away a more confident rider.

ABOUT COACH KAYLA
My passion for bikes started almost 20 years ago when I bought a bike to ride to campus in college. I tried to find anything that resembled a dirt trail. College basketball left my knees shot, and I needed another high-impact sport to fall back on. Little did I know that this sport would bring me to the mountains of Colorado (the biggest reason to move here), and I would be starting to guide kids in mountain biking at the local rec center. That lasted for 2 years and right before the 3rd summer, Covid closed down the world. I capitalized on the pandemic and decided to run the camp myself seeing the importance for kids to be outside.
I have my Level 1 BICP Certification and can coach 1 on 1 and group sessions for youth and adults.
Coming into my 6th year of coaching, I hope to expand to more camp sessions around the Front Range and bring the stoke to more kids on two wheels!
